Teaching Time

My "world" has been crazy busy and in the midst of busy, very chaotic!

Overwhelmed
Discouraged
Tired
Loosing Focus
Anxiety
Lack of time management
Anger
Frustration

That is only a glimpse of how my path has been running lately. I have been challenged by God in just a few (I mean, A LOT) of areas. So...what I am striving for...
Change
God Focus
Joy
Thankfulness
Peace
Waiting on God
Rest
Compassion
Love

Again, that's only a glimpse of the path I am trying to walk in NOW. God is working. I am walking in Him, listening closely, and trying to be obedient the first time...

I fail sooooo often, but I am very thankful that God shows me grace and forgiveness and chooses to give me another chance to recognize my need of Him in the center of my focus.

Encouragement for my soul today...

II Timothy 1:7 "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."

And another,

II Timothy 2:7 "Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in everything."

Hang in there. Here's some encouragement from one of our favorite songs.

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am hopeful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it is painful
But patiently, I will wait

I will move ahead, bold and confident
Takeing every step in obedience
While I'm waiting
I will serve You
While I'm waiting
I will worship
While I'm waiting
I will not faint
I'll be running the race
Even while I wait

I'm waiting
I'm waiting on You, Lord
And I am peaceful
I'm waiting on You, Lord
Though it's not easy
But faithfully, I will wait
Yes, I will wait
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve You while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting
I will serve you while I'm waiting
I will worship while I'm waiting on You, Lord

Oh man, Sarah...I totally know how you feel! I've been losing my temper so easily with my children lately and I hate it! Thanks for posting those verses...such a great encouragement and reminder!
